I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt

You of your letter of the 29th June No. 19250 transmitting to us a copy of a despatch and its enclosure from the Acting Governor of Hong Kong on the subject of the defective bridges on the Kowloon-Canton Railway.

2. We communicated the papers to the Consulting Engineers and I enclose a copy of their reply. Their letter of the 7th of October 1908 to which reference is made was communicated to you with
